WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company headquartered in Minden, Germany. Independently operating for three generations, WAGO has become an international standard-setting provider of electrical interconnect and automation solutions. WAGO is the world leader in spring pressure connection technology. The firm employs more than 7,200 people around the world - approximately 3,300 of these are in Germany. WAGO’s last posted revenues were EUR 720 million.
Components for Automation
The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM is a flexible fieldbus-independent solution for decentralized automation tasks. With the relay, function and interface modules, as well as overvoltage protection, WAGO provides a suitable interface for any application. Flexibility and freedom in planning are the major advantages of modular and fieldbus-independent devices used for decentralized automation. I/O Systems, interface modules, power supply and surge protection systems from WAGO are employed when high-performance, 100% safety and reliability are in demand in industries such as, process engineering, building automation, and any safety-related, hazardous applications. WAGO's AUTOMATION division provides solutions that are based on both fieldbus and spring pressure termination technologies, as well as interface modules, process technology and building systems sectors.
WAGO PFC200 Controller
Adding the new PROFIBUS controller with DP Master interface gives WAGO’s PFC200 Controller family additional capabilities. This compact controller readily collects and processes data in industrial environments via a PROFIBUS network with various subscribers. It then provides high-speed communication with sensors and actuators. A greater temperature range of -20 to 60°C gives this controller tremendous flexibility, particularly in industrial machines as well as in areas with higher requirements.
4-channel 24 VDC VALVE Ex i (750-539) digital output module
The new intrinsically safe, 4-channel I/O module is designed and approved to connect to sensors/actuators in hazardous zones 1/21 and 0/20. These economical modules control different types of intrinsically safe solenoid valves and detect standard signals from 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA and NAMUR NE43. The new 750-539 digital output module now makes it possible to control various types of valves from different manufacturers. Benefit from configurable, double channels and an output current of up to 50 mA.
TOPJOB® S Sensor/Actuator Terminal Blocks
TOPJOB® S Sensor/Actuator Terminal Blocks are ideal for wiring modern machine control systems. With a spacing of just 3.5 mm per connected sensor, these terminal blocks are a perfect fit with the smallest conductors. The blocks accommodate conductors up to 1.5 mm². Orange, identically shaped supply terminal blocks for potential distribution are also available for conductors up to 4 mm². The supply terminal blocks come with or without an LED voltage indicator.
